Featured Artists : CLAY

Donna McGee
Donna’s unique trademark is the technique of scratching. She scratches thru a layer of slip she has painted on a slab. The strength of the line drawings in the clay and the spontaneity of the designs are her unique signature. Her inspirations include timeless beauty of the human soul, open fields, folks walking about, and domesticity.

Alexandra Geller
Alexandra’s pottery is crafted of earthenware and stoneware clays fired at about 2,000 degrees. Hand built or wheel thrown, the ceramics are created using non-toxic, lead-free, food-safe glazes. The pottery is dishwasher safe, as well as microwaveable, and oven-proof. Variations reflect the singular character of each piece, along with fun, vivacious colors of each piece.

Eartha Handmade Tiles
These beautiful, brightly glazed terra cotta tiles were created by hand from an original design sculpted by artist Parran Collery. They are inspired by nature, the cosmos, and the charm of simple objects. Parran creates tiles and mosaics that combine sophisticated whimsical patterns with exquisite design. All are suitable for hanging inside or outdoors.

  Molly Cantor
Molly’s pottery is very distinguishable and contains insects, animals, and plants. Her inspirations are derived from stories and poems. The pottery is created from slabs and when the form is complete, Molly paints a thin layer of colored clay over the original clay and then carves through the layers to achieve a block print-like design. Most of the pottery is a colored glaze pattern that focuses mostly on narrative carvings and organic patterns. She hopes her pottery will enrich people’s celebrations and, through daily use, make their lives a little richer. Molly began making pottery 18 years ago when she studied ceramics from the Massachusetts College of Art.
