STUDIO 6 ART CRIT PARTY workshop [workshop]

LADY MCCRADY
Friday, February 6
5:00pm-7:00pm

For adult artists getting back into it, teens building an art school portfolio, and practicing visual artists working in their studios. As artists, we all need a no-judgments Art Crowd to support the evolution of our ongoing art works. Art Critical Theorist Clive Bell, of the UK Bloomsbury Group, created the concept of Significant Form. To paraphrase: the larger viewing public creates the significance of a work of art. The more people who recognize a work of art as great, the more important it is. This crit relies on the assembled Group to create a synergy to help pull out the stops and focus on where you're going with the work. Bring something in progress with a problem, something fabulously resolved, or even something old to redo! 1 piece, 6 pieces, or a unit of work. Talk, Talk, Talk for two hours only. First Friday of February. The cocktail hour, 5-7. "Hey you in the beret . . . "

Tuition $40.00
Members $25.00
