JANE GROSS Jane Gross is an art therapist, artist and licensed social worker practicing in Hamden, CT. She has over 25 years of experience as a facilitator of emotional healing using methods such as, intuitive counseling, guided imagery and process art.
SUSAN HACKETT is on the faculty of the Farmington Valley Art Center in Avon, CT and has been a master teaching artist with the arts apprenticeship program sponsored by the Greater Hartford Arts Council.
JOY HANKEN holds a BFA in ceramics from Alfred University and an MA in Art Therapy from Lesley College. For the last 14 years she has worked in ceramic sculpture, with color and texture important elements of her designs. After years of knitting and felting, she began to explore rug hooking and finds she can indulge her love of yarns and fabrics and texture incorporating abstract and narrative imagery and symbols and words.

NANCY KARPEL holds a BS from Albertus Magnus, and PMC Certification from the PMC Guild. Karpel has exhibited widely, published and been a professional jewelry artist for more than 32 years. She has taught traditional jewelry classes and PMC workshops at CAW and Guilford Art Center, intro workshops at Hopkins and trained interns from SCSU and Albertus Magnus at her studio, N. Karpel Studio, LLC.
DOLPH LE MOULT received his early art training at The University of Cincinnati, and the Cincinnati Academy of Fine Arts, completing his art education at The School of Visual Arts and the Art Student's league in New York. An illustrator for more than 25 years, Dolph has been commissioned by major editorial and advertising clients throughout the United States and abroad. In addition to his realistic artwork, he developed a reputation as a decorative illustrator, cartoonist, and caricaturist.
JOAN LEVY Holds a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute. Joan has been a visiting artist/teacher at Kansas City Art Institute, The Choate School, Hopkins, Tabor Community Art Center and has taught privately in her studio. Joan's work has been exhibited extensively and is in the permanent collections of the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, Yale Peabody Museum and in private collections, as well as being included in the Elaine de Kooning collection and archive of prominent women artists. Claudia conducts workshops on Early American and Multicultural arts and crafts with Young Audiences of CT and with the Southern Connecticut Library Council. She teaches outreach programs at the Wadsworth Atheneum. Claudia sews one of a kind quilts using vintage fabric and embellishments.
LADY McCRADY is a painter installation artist who has exhibited new work continually since 1982. MFA CUNY Hunter; BFA Syracuse University School of Art; NEA; CT Commission Arts; N.E.F.A. awards. A friend of Warhol in the 1980's, her drawings of the NY art and gallery scene also appeared in national publications. She is the 4th generation Shirret inventor and authority.
JACK MONTMEAT is a local portrait painter and illustrator with a studio in East Lyme, CT. Holds a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio, and studied in Paris and Florence. RUTH ANNE OLSON is a quilt artist, teacher, and photographer. She is a member of Studio Art Quilters Association, Quilt Art, and Sisters in Cloth, a group of quilt artists on the CT shoreline. STASIA PENKOFFLIDBECK holds a MS from the Univ. of New Hampshire and a BS from the Univ. of Rhode Island. She also attended the Rhode Island School of Design and received a Certificate of Scientific and Technical Illustration. She has studied pottery for 15 years at Wesleyan Potters and the Guilford Art Center.
JEAN PERKINS MFA photography from Columbia College, Chicago. She has taught a variety of classes in photography to both college students and working adults. Her work is held in private collections within the US and she has exhibited nationally and internationally. She is the Executive Director of the Guilford Art Center.
KATE PERRI has a B.F.A. in Designer Crafts from The Maryland Institute College of Art. Kate is a teacher, quilter and author. She has introduced teens and adults to machine sewing basics, and has taught in elementary and middle schools, retails shops, and at The Quilt Cottage in Mamaroneck, NY. Kate has completed several hundred custom quilt projects which range from classic quilt patterns. Author of two books: Quilt Blocks and Quilts from Your Favorite Fabrics (due fall, 2008) and Easy Singer Style: Fashion and Accessories both published by Creative Publishing International.
AMY PETERS Is an author and illustrator who lives in Madison. She teaches at GAC and the Eli Whitney Museum. She studied art history at Bryn Mawr College.

CYNTHIA RIEGLE Is an Environmental Art educator who holds a MA in Environmental Science and a Connecticut certification in Education. She has worked in the Norwalk School System, with National Audubon society in Greenwich and Vermont and Bauer Park in Madison, CT. Cynthia engages young people in their natural surroundings so they visualize themselves within a greater community.
STEPHEN RODRIGUEZ studied ceramics at Alfred University. His work in stoneware and porcelain is inspired by and reflects classic forms in the history of ceramics. He is a founding member of Gallery 12, a cooperative crafts gallery in Guilford. Rodriguez has taught at Wesleyan Potters and the 92nd Street Y in NY. He is the Head of the Pottery Department at CAW and exhibits widely.

LUCY VAN LIEW is a British native, enjoys bringing ideas from England that would work in Connecticut Gardens. She is a board member of GAC and runs her own garden design business in Madison. Her garden was part of the Madison Garden tour in 2008 and she loves experimenting with different ideas for our outside spaces.
