ABOUT SUMMER ART
WHO?
Registration is open to children ages 4 to 12.
WHAT?
SummerArt is an innovative eight-week visual art enrichment program with different themes each week that develop creative expression and artistic skills. Guest artists/institutions add an exciting perspective to the morning program each week. A variety of classes are offered in the afternoon such as clay, painting, drawing, glass, and more! The morning program may be combined with afternoon classes to make a full day program.
WHEN?
Half Day Morning Program
9:00am to 1:00pm
Half Day Afternoon Programs
1:30pm - 3:30pm (ages 4-6)
1:30pm - 4:30pm (ages 7-12).
Full Day
The morning program and afternoon classes combine to make a full day program.
9:00am - 3:30pm (ages 4-6)
9:00am - 4:30pm (ages 7-12)
Supervised Care
Morning 8:30am - 9:00am all ages
Afternoon 4:30pm - 5:00pm ages 7-12 only
TUITION:
Morning Program: Non Member: $187/week (Week 2, $150-no class 7/4), Member: $162/week (Week 2, $130-no class 7/4)
Afternoon Program: AGES 4-6: Non Member: $107/week (Week 2, $97), Member: $97/week (Week 2, $82); AGES 7-12: Non Member: $172/week (Week 2, $147), Member: $152/week (Week 2, $127)
Additional material fees, if applicable, will be indicated by each class description.
WHERE?
Workshops are held in air-conditioned studios.
WHY?
Children develop an awareness of art in other cultures and an appreciation for the creative process through hands-on activities using paint, paper, clay, fiber, and other materials.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY
A full refund will be issued up to April 30, 2008. A full refund minus a $25 processing fee will be issued for refunds requested up to 2 weeks before class starting date. A tuition credit of the class fee minus a $25 processing fee will be issued for cancellations requested less than 2 weeks before the class starting date. |
